1. Copyright & Ownership

The concept, layout, user interface, visual design, the arrangement and presentation of all panels and controls, the design of the solar PV-yield calculator, the presentation choices of the 3D globe, and all original feature and design ideas embodied in SkyWX are the original work and intellectual property of Philipp Jutzi.

You may use SkyWX freely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, re-skin, rebrand, mirror, or create derivative works from the SkyWX layout, design, or presentation without the prior written permission of the owner.

2. Third-Party Components & Data

SkyWX relies on components and data that are not owned by Philipp Jutzi and remain the property of their respective owners, used under their own terms:

• Three.js — 3D rendering library, © its authors, used under the MIT License.
• Space-weather data — provided by NOAA / NWS Space Weather Prediction Center.
• Irradiance & weather data — provided by Open-Meteo.
• Astronomical formulae (sun & moon position, twilight) are standard public mathematical knowledge, owned by no one.
• Coastline geometry is derived from public geographic datasets.

This notice claims no ownership over any of the above. All trademarks and data belong to their respective owners.

3. Terms of Use

SkyWX is provided for general informational and educational purposes. By using SkyWX you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse, overload, scrape at scale, or attempt to disrupt the service or its data providers.

SkyWX runs in your browser. Your settings are stored only on your own device; SkyWX does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. Live data is fetched directly from the third-party providers listed above when you use the app.

4. Accuracy & "As-Is" Disclaimer

All values shown by SkyWX — including sun and moon times, twilight phases, space-weather indices, aurora forecasts, satellite positions, and solar PV-yield estimates — are approximations for general guidance only. They may contain errors or be delayed, and depend on third-party data that may be inaccurate or unavailable.

SkyWX is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Do not rely on SkyWX for any safety-critical, navigational, aviation, maritime, financial, or operational decision. Solar PV-yield figures are planning estimates only and are not a guarantee of real-world output; verify against professional assessments and actual equipment specifications before any purchase or installation decision.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Philipp Jutzi shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from the use of, or reliance on, SkyWX or its data, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential.
